2025 Scholarship Award RECIPIENTS

Luz Gomez-Chavez Olivia Witkowski

In 2025 two scholarships of $2,500 each were handed out to Seniors from the Weyauwega/Fremont High School. The 2025 Taylor Kennedy Folk Scholarship recipients are Luz Gomez-Chavez and Olivia Witkowski. 

Luz will attend Columbia University, majoring in Biology on a pre-med track. She plans to become a family physician and is passionate about returning to her community to provide accessible, compassionate care to those who need it most.

Olivia will attend the University of Wisconsin–Eau Claire to pursue a degree in Nursing. With a heart for service, she hopes to provide high-quality care to all individuals, regardless of their background or financial status.
